There are no bad emotions...right?

Have you heard the saying “There are no bad emotions?” This saying can be a little confusing.

There are emotions that don’t feel good, and that, especially when sustained, are not healthy for us. What this saying is really telling us is that all emotions need to be recognized and felt

By feeling your emotions, you can be more aware of your body and mind’s needs. By processing through (facing) your emotions, you can get a release and become unstuck. Then by communicating your emotions and needs with your support network, you can find freedom.

And all of this can be so much easier and effective with music!

If you'd like to learn more about how Get In Tune music therapists use music to address all emotions, check out "Our Approach" under the About tab on the menu.
