Music Therapist Subcontractor Positions
Get In Tune seeks innovative and creative music therapists who are dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents and adults with addiction and/or mental health diagnoses. This position involves providing group and individual music therapy services to adolescents and adults in addiction treatment centers. Traveling to a variety of facilities throughout Southern California area concentrating in the Greater Orange County Area or the Greater Denver Area is required for sites offering in-person sessions. Virtual work is also a potential possibility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

MT-BC or have proof of intent to take board exam

Experience working with individuals in addiction treatment, eating disorder, and/or mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. Experience in other populations will be taken into consideration.

Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle

CPR certification and Professional liability insurance will be needed to start

Those without extensive experience in addiction or mental health treatment or who have not worked with 12-Step components specifically will be required to complete Get In Tune's Using Music in Mental Health Recovery Certification program before working in this population.

Therapist has flexibility to accept contracts or not based on availability. Sessions may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
