2 Healing Habits for the Holidays

One of our favorite healing habits is to sandwich the day with music. And by that we mean we start and end the day with mental health music tools. This can be an especially beneficial practice during a busy season, or a time when you have added stressors. (Holiday season, anyone?)

The mental health exercises you bookend your day with may vary, but if you'd like to join us in this practice and need some ideas, here is what we have been doing:

1. Start your day with a Morning Dance session. Give yourself a “pep talk” of sorts by listening to our “I am Enough” playlist and dancing it out. No matter what comes at you this holiday season, remind yourself daily that you ARE enough.

2. End each day with music and mediation. Turn on calming, instrumental music and breathe. Think about your experiences from the day, the emotions you felt, and what you emotionally and mentally need for tomorrow.

After you try these simple habits out, let us know what you think!
