The Christmas Truce - Christmas 1914 when German and British soldiers stopped fighting and instead spent the night singing carols together - is one of the most unique war stories.

The simple act of sharing music brought peace and comfort in the midst of war.

This story highlights the ability to music to form connection even in the hardest of times, amongst enemies. If music can form a connection under those circumstances, music can also help you form and nourish connections in your life.

If you are celebrating this winter season, bring music into your holiday traditions and gatherings.

  • Sing together

  • Dance!

  • Share favorite songs

  • Play a "guess the song" game

  • End a busy day doing a music meditation together

  • Rewrite lyrics to a holiday song (you can go deep or go goofy!

Let music bring you peace and comfort too.
