What Makes You Unstoppable?

This is your opportunity to write your own pump-up song.

Listen to the song "Unstoppable" by Sia. As you listen, pull up the lyrics. Notice what lines stand out to you.

Once listening through, think about what your version of this song would sound like if you were to write it. Go ahead and cross out words that you don't connect with and replace them with words that fit better for you. Or you can rewrite the song entirely. As you're writing, focus on this prompt: What helps to pump you up AND still acknowledges your struggles?

If you've never written a song before, that is okay too! This is your chance to try songwriting.

If you'd like a place to get started, try changing these lyrics to represent you and your story:

"I put my armor on, show you how strong I am.

I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am.

I'm Unstoppable. I'm a Porsche with no breaks.

I'm invincible. I win every single game.

I'm so powerful. I don't need batteries to play

I'm so confident. I'm unstoppable today"

Once you've finished your song, read it to yourself- or feel free to sing along to it if you'd like.
