Five minutes. That's all this will take, but those five minutes can readjust your whole day.
Get out a piece of paper and draw a large circle, or if you are feeling winter festive, a large snowflake.
Grab a few drawing utensils. (Pens, colored pencils)
Turn on the song "Signals" by Andrew Gialanella.
Let this song play twice, and while it is playing, reflect on the signals and demands you have this season. What can you let go of? How can you find a signal or two and give yourself time for centering and just being?
Just draw and reflect.
And when the song is over, give your work a title, thank yourself for the gift of five minutes to center, and continue your day!
