My nephew is currently obsessed with superheros. I get it - superheros are super cool!
But if we had to act like the ninja turtles or Spiderman in real life, that would be a totally different story.
They've got a lot to carry, all the time.
Which brings me to us. Just because you are able to shoulder something hard doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy. Sometimes you have to be stronger than you should need to. Sometimes you have to take on a big burden. But that doesn’t mean you have to ignore how hard this is for you. Being a "superhero" isn't always super.
Acknowledge the weight, and seek help when you need it. You don’t have to be a hero all on your own.
